Morseng Can Help

Prolapsed uterus or low uterus (Pelvic Organ Prolapse)

It is a condition in which the uterus droops or slides down towards the vagina.
The uterus, the female reproductive organ, is normally located within the pelvic floor.
Shaped like an inverted pear.
There is a muscle hanging between the coccyx and the pubic bone that holds the uterus.
The bladder and colon contain ligaments and connective tissues that hold the uterus in the pelvis.
If the tissue is weak or damaged Will result in the uterus dropping down to the vagina.

In most cases, uterine prolapse involves other pelvic organs, such as the bladder or bowel.
Uterine prolapse is classified into four levels according to the severity of the condition:

Level 1 occurs when the uterus prolapses to half of the vaginal opening.
Level 2 occurs when the uterus prolapses near the vaginal opening.
Level 3 causes the uterus to protrude outside the vagina
Level 4 The condition of the uterus completely prolapsed outside the vagina. Called uterine prolapse (Procidentia), which is caused by the deterioration of all pelvic floor muscles.
